Billing and subscription

This is an admin task. Billing is where you manage your neighborhood's subscription: see where your trial stands, pick a plan, and handle payment. Every neighborhood starts on a free 14-day trial with no credit card required.

Open Billing:

In the sidebar, under Settings, choose Billing.

What Billing shows

Billing shows your current plan and its household limit, plus a status that reflects where you stand: trialing (with a countdown), subscribed (with the renewal date), trial ended or cancelled, over household limit, and transitional states like cancel pending or past due. A summary shows the relevant dates, your household usage against the plan's cap, and the plan price and next charge.

What you can do

  • Choose a plan from the offered tiers (for example monthly or annual at various household caps) and start checkout. Payment is handled by Stripe.
  • Manage payment and invoices through the Stripe billing portal.
  • Set the billing email that receives receipts and billing notices.

On the iPhone and Android apps, checkout and the billing portal open in your phone's browser and return to Residely when you're done.

If your neighborhood goes over its household limit (for example after a downgrade), it's locked to read-only until you upgrade or reduce households. And if a trial lapses with no subscription, admins are routed here while other residents see an "access ended" screen until the neighborhood is back in good standing.
