Manage amenities

This is an admin task. Amenities are the shared spaces residents can reserve, like tennis courts or a clubhouse. You decide what's bookable and how, and residents book within those rules.

Open Amenities settings:

In the sidebar, under Settings, choose Amenities.

Configure an amenity

For each amenity you can set:

  • Its name, description, icon, and rules that residents acknowledge when booking.
  • Hours for each day of the week, with open and close times, or mark a day closed.
  • Booking rules: the slot length (for example 15 or 30 minutes), minimum and maximum reservation duration, how far ahead residents may book, how much lead time is required before a start, and an optional cap on how many reservations one resident can hold at once.
  • Approval: auto-approve every reservation, or require approval. When approval is required, assign the approvers, which can be groups, admins, or both.
  • Sub-units: the individual bookable units within an amenity (for example separate courts), each of which can be taken offline.
  • Blackout windows: dates or times when the amenity is unavailable, with an optional reason, for maintenance or closures.
  • Status: whether the amenity is active and bookable, or hidden.

Amenities can be reordered in the list.

Assigned approvers review reservation requests for amenities that require approval, and see a pending queue with approve and decline actions. The resident side of booking is covered in Book an amenity.
